Dressed For Dinner

In a light-hearted way, this dinner set ‘Dressed for Dinner’ wants to illustrate the social aspects that are involved during that special night out. Dining involves so much more than eating alone. Be it a date, a dinner for work or a first meeting with the in-laws, we all know how anticipation of the event, lingering over the right wardrobe, getting dressed, attraction and seduction during the evening all
are as much part of dining as enjoying the food itself.

The “Dressed for Dinner” ceramics set is created by Marianne van Ooij, a Brooklyn based Dutch designer, who works in a variety of disciplines, including textiles, furniture design and ceramics.

That’s a smart concept. And the objects are beautiful, too.
