SkinDeep de Julian Palast
Fotograful francez Julian Palast este autorul seriei intitulata SkinDeep. Lucrarile incearca un studiu al corpului uman, vazut ca o sculptura efemera, un basorelief realizat pe un suport plastifiat. Prin asta artistul se raporteaza la imaginarul clasic, insa lucrarile lui nu sunt deloc ‘clasice’. Mie mi se par foarte actuale si nu ma pot abtine de la o paralela cu moda, care ne-a servit in ultimele sezoane destule articole vestimentare peliculizate, metalizate sau plasticate (daca va amintiti colectia Prabal Gurung S/S 2012).
